Little Dragons 4 – 6 yrs

Our Little Dragons Programme is here to develop early martial arts skills in fun, fast paced classes.

Our syllabus focuses on Punching / kicking techniques, Stances and micro forms.

Our classes help develop core values such as Focus, Coordination, Fitness & Discipline.

The Syllabus is made to teach the students more and more advanced techniques so when they come of age and move up to Juniors they can hit the ground running, but not before one final test where they punch through a Break Board in their graduation ceremony.

Karate 7 – 12 yrs

Our junior classes develop, Fitness, Strength, Focus, Coordination & Discipline. If you want to get your children on their path to Black Belt get in touch now.

Our Junior Karate is a freestyle based on Kyoukushin but focused on Creative Katas. In today’s world children find it hard to memorise 50+ move Katas so our programme teaches ownership of Karate and make it their own, they will take the move and creative forms they learn through our syllabus and create their own Form.

This modern style of Karate encourages students to invest as they can add their own style and the moves they love to train, and in a world of social media and creativity this is hands down the best way to get young martial artists passionate about karate.

Our syllabus teaches students techniques that require more and more skill the higher belt they have, starting with simple punches and basic kicks progressing to combos and jumping kicks even trick kicks like the Tornado Kick.

JUNIOR KARATE 4 WEEK KICK START PROGRAM

Kickboxing 7 – 12 yrs

Kickboxing builds Fitness, Strength, Confidence and Discipline. It is the faster paced martial arts stye and very popular with older children that may not have the patience for katas.

Kickboxing is a combat sport, focusing on two styles, Points and Continuous. Points is a stop and start style similar to Olympic Tae Kwon Do or Karate.

Continuous is a non-stop style similar to boxing When students start, they learn basic techniques and combos giving them a solid foundation.

After progressing trough a few belts, they will be encouraged to start using these combos in light contact sparring staring with points style. When they have progressed to advanced level the students will move on to Continuous style.

Ladies Kickboxing 13 yrs +

Kickboxing builds Fitness, Strength, Confidence and Discipline.

Kickboxing is a fantastic way to get fit and learn self-defence techniques.

We focus on two different styles of kickboxing (points & continuous).

We will also teach you self defence moves that will give you confidence when out and about.

Our classes are taught by two-time WKC women’s World Champion Sensei Steph.

Our Karate is a freestyle based on Kyoukushin

There is a Kata for every belt you will progress to (12 from white to black and more beyond that).

Kata is a series of moves that act as a blueprint for combos and self-defence, and each Kata teach slightly more difficult techniques the further into the syllabus you go
